2014 GlobalExpo & Charity Dinner
Thanks to everyone that sponsored and participated in the 2014 GlobalExpo & Charity Dinner. We couldn’t have done it without your help. For those that did not have a chance to attend, we hope to see you next year.
GlobalExpo Technology Forum
This year’s event was held at the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center in Englewood, Colorado and was a two day event. 2014 GlobalExpo kicked off with a light breakfast and technology forum that covered topics such as cloud, security, managed services, hosted voice and network solutions. The forum lasted the majority of the day and was followed by a supplier fair and networking event at 4:00pm. There were a total of 21 sponsors including PGi, Earthlink, Blackbox, Mobile Solutions, Hosting.com, Sungard, Viawest, Netfortris, LiveOps, Carpathia, Windstream, 8x8, Centurylink, MegaPath, IntelePeer, inContact, Bharti Airtel, Telekenex, XO Communications, Globalinx, and Simple Signal. This was truly a great forum with a ton of discussion and information on the latest technologies and industry trends. More than 200 people attended throughout the day.
GlobalExpo Golf Tournament
Day two of the 2014 GlobalExpo featured a 144 player shotgun golf tournament. The tournament was held at Inverness Golf Course. All of the sponsors were paired with GCG employees, sales agents and clients. The golf tournament was a huge success and ended with a late lunch and awards ceremony.
GlobalExpo Charity Dinner
In our minds, the most impressive and successful part of the entire 2014 GlobalExpo was the charity dinner. The dinner was hosted by a special guest and motivational speaker. There were four charities that were presented with $5,000 each. They included A Precious Child, Urban Peak, Mercy Housing, and Warrior Project. Each charity had the opportunity to come up on stage and tell their story in front of a group of 200+ people. It was a truly enlightening and emotion filled atmosphere.
About Global Care Foundation
Global Care Foundation (GCF) was created as a way to give back to local community and those in need abroad. Founded in 2009, the non-profit 501 (c)(3) was part of a bigger initiative within GCG, a leading IT consulting firm and technology services distributor. Our intent was to create involvement and encourage employees and clients to give back to the community and help those struggling with homelessness, abuse, natural disasters and hardship. Today, GCF is more active than ever in the community and supports a large number of charities and causes. Our headquarters are located in Englewood, Colorado.
